The Pompilos are a family of Hymenoptera known to the common name "spider wasp" or "spider" wasp "in English. It is recalled that the Hymenoptera is an order of insects that include, among others, bees, wasps, bees and ants. Hymenoptera etymology refers to the Greek roots "hymen = membrane" and "ptero = wing," meaning that they have membranous wings.
